It has been so exciting to watch the way you have evolved your passion for entertainment into a career of your own! We have no doubt in our minds that your dreams will all come true in time. Read on to see how Marissa found herself and her love for entertainment at SWDC! "When I hear the words, Studio West Dance Center, my heart fills with joy as I reminisce on the countless laughs, friendships, and triumphs with an incredible family of talented people. Although I am no longer dancing regularly, the lessons and experiences I carry from my years at the studio absolutely shape how I approach every day. From discipline, to team work, to persistence - the late nights and long weekends taught me to be a leader, to move with grace no matter the circumstance and to balance the weight of the world with those around me. What an incredibly beautiful and powerful thing -to be a dancer.
Studio West nurtured a confidence in me to chase opportunity and I am comforted to know that, no matter where life takes me, I have a family in SWDC that will support me through it all." -Marissa Bonertz #weareswdc #swdclove #swdcstrong #alumni #family #focoartist #focobornandraised #fortcollinscolorado

"Hello, I am Ian Chubb, and I am an alumni from Studio West Dance Center. I started my journey at SWDC when I was in 5th grade, so about 10 years old, and have been a dancer ever since! I began my dance journey strictly as a hip-hop dancer but branched out to all styles of dance as I progressed through their program. I am now a professional dancer out of Los Angeles! I am currently signed with Movement Talent Agency and have done multiple music videos, Reebok industrials, and a few TV shows! I am also a principle dancer for a nonprofit dance company, MusEffect. We spread awareness about social issues through stage shows around the country! I am also part of Muse Dance Company in house convention, which allows me to travel the world and teach students ranging from 7 to 18! My current goal in the industry is to book my first tour with an artist! SWDC was were my passion for dance started and I will never forget that!" -Ian Chubb
