Dance Program Tuition


Monthly tuition (per class):

3o minutes 45 minutes 50 minutes 60 minutes 75 minutes 90 minutes 120 minutes








There is a 10% discount for additional classes within the same family. We also offer a substantial discount in the form of a flat monthly tuition rate for multiple & unlimited classes.


Masters Ballet Classes:

All dancers participating in the Ballet Masters Program (BMP) will be assessed the following fees:

  • $35 per month for each dancer enrolled in Levels 1 & 2
  • $45 per month for each dancer enrolled in Level 3
  • $60 per month for each dancer enrolled in levels 4-6

All Dancers enrolled in the Ballet Masters Program are required to take a minimum of 2 BMP classes (at their placed level) per week- additional classes may be available.

10% multiple class discount not available for BMP classes.

Multiple Class Options :

  • $265 for any one student enrolled in 5-10 classes. 
  • $475 family rate for two dancers in the same family, both enrolled in five or more classes
  • $550 family rate for three dancers in the same family (*Tuition will be figured by either family rate or per class tuition, whichever total is less.)

PreProfessional Classes : 

  • Levels 4-7: additional $10/month per dancer

Adult Classes & Tuition

Tuition for all SWDC adult classes will be available as a drop in rate of $15/class or you can purchase a semester punch card (18 classes) for $225. Please call the studio to inquire about current class offerings at 970-225-1611.

Parents of dancers may take SWDC adult classes for $20/month per class or $50/month unlimited adult classes.


Tumbling Classes

We are excited to offer new tumbling classes for the 2016-2017 dance season. Individual tumbling classes are priced at the regular class rate. Dancers on the unlimited class rates may participate in the tumbling classes for an additional $20/month per dancer.

Monthly tuition payments are due the 1st of each month; payments received after the 10th of the month will incur late fees.  Payments can be made at the front desk or online, we do not accept American Express.  Save yourself a lot of time and hassle by using our Auto-Pay! Auto-pay accounts are run on the 5th of each month.  A $20 fee will be charged on all returned checks and also on auto-pay (credit card) payments that are declined, so please make sure to keep your credit card information up to date with us. 

Accounts must be current in order to receive costumes and to participate in the Spring Recital. A 10% discount is available for those paying for the full semester in advance (by the 15th of the new semester). The 10% discount applies only to tuition. Ballet Masters Fees and Ensemble monthly fees will be charged at regular price.  For any questions about our tuition or discounts, please call us at 225-1611.  **All auto pay accounts are run on the 5th of each month.

There are no refunds or proration of fees and tuition.


Enrollment & Recital Fees

There is an annual, non-refundable enrollment fee of $35 per student or $50 per family.  This fee covers administration and processing costs for  your account. Also at the time of enrollment, there is a $60 non-refundable recital fee per family to be paid by November 1st. The recital fee helps to cover the costs associated with the rental of the theatre and production of the shows.


Missed Classes

There are no refunds or credits for classes missed or for classes which fall on a holiday.  As appropriate and necessary, we do schedule make-up classes when classes are cancelled due to inclement weather, etc (up to 2).  We do apologize but we are unable to allow a student to attend a different class as a make-up, since classes are both age and choreography specific.  However, in some instances, we may be able to schedule a private make up session if desired. We ask, if at all possible, that you notify the Studio West Dance Center office if your child will not be attending a scheduled class.

The program in which you are enrolling your child is an on-going 10 month program (approx mid-August through mid-June) and is not a “session”. If you plan to withdraw your child from the program, we ask that you notify us at least 30 days prior to the withdrawal date in writing from a parent or guardian IN PERSON at the studio. Email and phone withdraw requests will not be accepted. You are financially responsible for all tuition and fees that fall within the 30 day withdraw window. No tuition or fees will be refunded or prorated.

The last day to withdraw from the program is October 15th for the 2016-2017 season. Accounts withdrawn after this date will be assessed a $150 cancellation fee per dancer. All fees are non refundable.

Schedule & Cancellations

SWDC generally follows the Poudre School District school calendar.  Dance Program classes are held from mid August through June.  Classes are generally not held on school breaks/holidays, but ARE usually held on teacher work days, etc.  PLEASE check the SWDC calendar for details as they are announced. Any cancellations due to weather will be published on our web site, facebook page, sent out via email, and/or recorded on the studio’s outgoing voicemail message so please check these sources whenever you have a question about the status of SWDC classes.  And, as always, use your best judgment as to whether or not it is safe for YOU to travel.



Most classes will participate in a Winter Performance and in a more formal Spring Recital. There are a few technique classes that do not perform.  Other performance opportunities will be available to Ensemble/Competition teams.
