Nicole Pelletier

Nicole PelletierNicole was born and raised in New Hampshire and has been dancing since the age of 3. Growing up she competed at various regional and national dance competitions, and has been teaching dance since the age of 16. Nicole graduated from Boston University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College in May 2008. While in college, Nicole was a 4-year-member of the BU Dance Team, and competed annually at the NDA National Dance Championships in Orlando, FL. She was also a member of the Dance Theatre Group and BU on Tap dance companies on campus. Her post-college dance experience has consisted of drop-in technique dance classes and repertoire performances with the Jeannette Neill Dance Studio and the Brookline Academy of Dance, both in Boston, MA. Nicole also was a member of the Boston Blazers Sparks Dance Team (MLL Professional Indoor Lacrosse) and the Boston Cannons Dance Team (NLL Professional Outdoor Lacrosse) for three seasons each. Throughout her college and graduate school years, Nicole taught dance classes at Boston University, community centers, local YMCA’s and various afterschool programs. For the past seven years she has taught dance to children and teens at a dance studio in a suburb of Boston, and this past year coached a high school dance team. After enjoying the past 12 years as a Boston resident, Nicole is very excited to be starting a new chapter in her life in the beautiful state of Colorado and to be a member of the Studio West Dance Center community!
